How much is homeowners Insurance in Nevada?

Looking for a ballpark figure, i need all you insurance guys or gurus to help me out! Its a 1200 sq ft single family house, in zip code 89129. Want a standard deductible. Four rooms would be covered at about 15K a piece. Built in 2003. What would be a ball park figure for home Owners insurance annually?

Standard deductible meaning, company standard, or what most people buy? What's the house made of? What's the claim history on the house and on you? What's your CREDIT SCORE? Do you have any dogs, trampolines, skateboard ramps? How far are you from a hydrant & fire station?? Do you have any special items that need coverage, such as jewelry or collections? How about special endorsements, such as backup of sewers & drains, building ordinance or law, and replacement cost??
There's a lot more to a quote than what you listed. You'll need to get a REAL quote or seven from some local agents.

We are opening an adult residential day care business in our home and cannot find business liability insurance to cover it. We are in Nevada and are licensed to care for 6 adults (seniors) during the day .... Does anybody have any ideas WHO we can contact??????? Thanks.
Home insurance covers lots of different things. I'm not sure about Nevada laws and regulations, so I suggest you call a nearby homeowners insurance agent. http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Home-Insurance.html They will be able to help you.

How do I put this mobile home in my name?

I have been living in this mobile and taking care of my Mom for 15 yrs. Mom gave me a bill of sale in 1999, she passed away last year and I need to put it in my name, it's paid for, but I can't get the insurance in my name until it's legally mine, how do I go about getting title in my name, I'm in the state of Nevada.

Go to your local title company and request a claim deed, you will have to prove ownership with a bill of sale or note but it is fairly easy and inexpensive.

Just ask an agent. “We do write quite a few flood policies. We’ve had several inquiries. They’re saying they don’t have it, but they’d like to buy it,” Becky Wingstrand, office manager at AE Long Insurance in Puyallup, said Friday. Her office, like many in the region, offers flood insurance both for homeowners and businesses. The policies are ultimately underwritten by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Policies are offered at prices that depend on the location of the risk, whether in a recognized flood-prone area or somewhere less susceptible to flooding. FEMA requires a 30-day waiting period before a policy goes into effect. The average cost for a homeowner, Wingstrand said, is $350 per year.
