To get travel insurance for Mexico, does it come under USA ?
Can anyone recommend a reasonable travel insurer for Mexico please.
You need worldwide travel insurance. Have you checked with your bank you may be covered. We have a Barclays account which has travel insurance included. Otherwise try here.
We are going to Mexico on the 13 May.

We're headed to Playa Del Carmen for our honeymoon and it represents a significant amount of money. Is travel insurance worth it?
Absolutely. Buy it. It's not that much money at your age and it covers sickness, trip delay, trip interruption, medical expenses, reimbursement of many things. You never know and like you said the trip was not cheap. The unexpected can happen. It's peace of mind.

Do the countries Honduras, Belize, Mexico & Guatemala come under 'USA' when getting travel insurance?

I'm confused!! Do I need the travel insurance that says 'Worldwide excl. USA' or 'Worldwide incl. USA'?
The countries you mention are all in Central America, except Mexico which is in North America. None of them are under USA for insurance purposes.
If you are going to any of those countries, get insurance for "Worldwide, excl USA" unless you plan to visit the US on the same trip, in which case you should get "Worldwide, incl USA".
Your travel agent should also be able to help.

January 9, 2009 With the start of the new year, many people start planning their summer vacations. However, this year's the sluggish economy has some people asking if they can you afford to go anywhere at all. A recent study conducted by travel agency, Travel Leaders found 47.9% of their clients are booking their vacations later than they did last year. “I think people are waiting to see what the economy will do, what the new administration will do to stimulate the economy and whether or not they're going to have a job,” said president of Travel Leaders, Kellie Bishop. Putting uncertainty aside, Bishop suggests planning your vacation now, because cruise lines and agents are offering fresh deals to entice their clients. “It's supply and demand. Hotels are sending over specials, I had one yesterday where the jeep was providing a jeep rental and flip flops and sunglasses to people coming to a new renovated hotel in Mexico. There are some unusual deals going on right now and the deals are quite good,” said Bishop.
