Uniting for Early Childhood Day, Monday, Bismarck: To bring an increased awareness of early childhood services and issues to policymakers, public officials, fellow advocates, and the public, “Uniting for Early Childhood Day” is being held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Great Hall of the Capitol, Bismarck.A variety of early childhood agencies and advocates will be displaying their organizational mission, resources and efforts toward enhancing early childhood experiences in North Dakota. The goals are to build awareness of early childhood issues that impact the health and well-being of citizens, to help policymakers understand the importance of proposed early childhood legislation through personal visits with early childhood advocates and to promote a unified voice for early childhood policymakers and the general public. The event is free.
