Buying cheap life insurance may be the only way to prepare yourself and especially your loved ones for the unfortunate event of your death. I probably don’t have to remind you that death is unavoidable but there really are people who try to be prepared in case something goes wrong.
If you happen to be the only earning member of your family, if something unexpected happens to you leading you to your death, you need to make sure that your loved ones have alternatives. Well-organized people take a structured approach to this by buying life insurance.
Getting insurance is very easy nowadays. There is an impressive number of companies to choose from and so many forms, you probably don’t even know where to start. The real difficulty will be filtering through all those options and finding a cheap insurance policy that will give you the coverage you need.
Life policies are very varied in nature. For example, there are insurance policies that cover your death. Then, you can choose life insurance that spans only for a specific period of time, usually somewhere in between 10 and 25 years.
However, it is the cost of these insurance policies that makes some people decide not to go through with it. They have to pay a monthly or annual fee without being to able to see immediate results. This is something that makes people lose their determination. But this is not a very wise decision.

What is risk by signing a Banker Life of Louisiana life insurance policy at GMAC in Alexandria, La.?

Dad purchased vehicle at GMAC in Alexandria, Louisiana. Dealership had him sign a Bankers Life of Louisiana life insurance policy. On this policy GMAC is the beneficiary, and my mother is second. Policy had list of illnesses (which dad had all), but signed as had none. Upon death of dad, policy is to pay off vechicle and then vechicle belongs to mother. Trying to figure if vechicle s paid or not. Father died 8/09/06. Now Bankers Life of Louiiana sending paperwork wanting to know all his illnesses. Also, if mother gets vechicle changed to her name, will that cancel the life insurance policy.
If the policy was less than two years old and they lied on the application about your dad's health, it may not pay at all. If it was over two years old, they should not be asking about his prior health, as it would not matter. Credit life it the worst insurance you can every buy. I hope it pays off the car for your mom. My condolences on the passing of your dad.

I have already taken a course which did not help me at all. My teacher was awful and just blew through the info and did not let us ask any questions. If there would have been some kind of discussion in class I would be able to relate to the information much better, but I am stuck just reading my book and making note cards. I take the exam on March 9th and have been studying my butt off. I have been taking practice test on the website by the school but I am stinking it up every time. The wording of the questions is throwing me off and the information is not sticking in my head. The person who hired me told me to just get through the test and get my license then forget everything because she will teach me all I need to know, but I have to pass the exam and I am horrible at standardized test. Any advice?
I have taught the GA, FL & AL pre-license course. I am sorry you had such a sorry instructor. It is important to have key words or phrases that help you recall the information. Some people are good test takers and some are not. I have had agents who knew the material forward and backward, but could not pass the test. They freeze. You can not let this happen. The tests are designed to be tricky. I always recommend you read the question, read all the answers, then go back and read the question again to make sure you understand what they are asking. MBR is right about the practice exams. If you can not get 80 to 90% on the practice exam, you will probably not pass the state exam. Some pre-license companies offer refresher courses at no cost if you failed the exam. Check with the one you used and if possible, take it over with a different instructor. Check out EMSI, Portomedic, Superior Mobile Medics, and Apps. You want to contract with the actual exam company, not the insurance company.
