How long does it take to take both the Tennessee Life and Health Insurance Exams?

I am going to need to take them back to back because I am getting an internship with AFLAC. Can someone give me an estimate as to how much time it will take for both together?

Health insurance can be very tricky. Since I live in Illinois I'm not sure about Tennessee regulations, so I suggest you call a local health insurance agent. http://www.americaschoicetoday.com/Health-Insurance.html They should be able to help you.

How/Where do insurance agents get licensed in Tennessee?

I live in Tennessee, and I'm interested in becoming a health/life insurance agent. I cannot figure out where I need to go to train etc.

The best thing to do is to contact an agency in your area and ask them to hire you and train you and go to work for them. Sometime a larger property and casualty agent would hire you as their life and health producer.

You can contact the TN Department of Insurance for licensing information.

It was hatched five years before the big financial downturn.

But the documents reveal an investment deal that, state officials believed, could have led to the collapse of a major insurance company.

When Republicans take control of Tennessee's legislature next week, they'll also name the people who'll control your money -- $33 billion in state bank accounts and pension funds.

During interviews with GOP lawmakers, investment banker and big Republican donor Ira Brody touted his experience to be the state's treasurer.
