Kentucky Life & Health Insurance Exam!?
Sep 08, 2008 by Joshua C | Posted in Insurance
How hard will it be for me to pass the State Exam or how much do i need to study if i passed the practice tests on License2go.com with flying colors? Also, how important is it for me to study the State Supplement giving the rules and regulations of the Commissioner of Insurances' powers?
Thanks a lot!
Life insurance covers lots of different things. Since I'm from South Dakota I'm not sure about Kentucky regulations, so I suggest you visit a local life insurance agent. http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Life-Insurance.html They should be able to assist you.

I just moved to Kentucky and Im a partime student and a parttime worker. I want to get health insurance but am not sure what to do or where to do. I cant get it through work and I cant through my parents. HELP!!!
You need to do your own research. I would just get many quotes from different companies then pick the best/cheapest one. When researching health insurance you might want to try and bookmark this site for research information, news, articles, insurance quotes, companies, links and more. It should have the resources/links to help you with your question.

Health care tops agenda - Louisville Courier-Journal
08.01.09
"Health care in this nation costs too much and is serving too few," said Scott Wegenast of AARP Kentucky, one of more than 80 people who attended a community health-care forum at the Brown & Williamson Club at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
Sponsored by the University of Louisville, U of L Health Care, Passport Health Plan and Save the Children, it is among thousands of similar meetings being held across the nation to inform Obama's transition team and Tom Daschle, Obama's choice for secretary of health and human services. Organizers plan to send them a videotape of the event, results of a survey and summaries of public testimony.
Much of that testimony focused on rising insurance costs and the number of people who can't get care. About 46 million Americans lack health insurance and, as a Courier-Journal investigation found last year, skyrocketing insurance deductibles, premiums and other insurance issues are forcing an increasing number of families to choose between finances and health.
