Greetings from Coastal NC!!
Hi everyone!! Just wanted to do a quick intro, I have been lurking for a little while and finally decided to register lol. Anyway, just to tell a little more about myself, I am in Wilmington, NC and currently hold my Life, Health/Accident and Personal Lines Licenses. Problem is, I have had these licenses since July of 2008, and just can't seem to find a good fit for me.
My first appointment was with Aflac---that lasted all but a month, never sold anything, just had a 3 day "training" and then after that they threw me to the wolves with the yellow pages to cold call and a minimum of 20 door knockings a day, as well as wanting me to try to sell to family and friends.
Next was an internet based/call center agency (homeinsurance.com) where we actually had pretty decent leads coming in, I sold home and auto with Traveler's. This was ok until they really started pushing us to sell home and auto packages, but somehow it seemed every lead coming in, the person lived in an apartment or mobile home. Nothing wrong with that, but we were unable to write renters policies, etc.
So, that brings me to the present. I decided I want to try to sell Health, Life and Personal Lines if possible, and do this face to face, at home via phone and internet....it really doesnt matter. I am supposed to start training with Liberty National/UA next week, but have heard bad things about them, so Im not too sure.
Basically---all I want is a good reputable company to work for, with no or minimal door knocking and selling to friends and family involved and that wont try to "recruit" me into management after 3 months of supposedly making 100k or more? Sorry this was long winded, just frustrated and trying to figure out where to go from here. Thanks!
Amy

what is the cheapest north carolina car insurance?
Dec 23, 2008 by john C | Posted in Insurance & Registration
this is my first insurance as a driver has anyone found anything cheap around greensboro? also, do i need to have insurance to get my licence at the dmv, or can i just use a car that is insured?
First to get your vehicle registered you need to have valid insurance. You could concievable get a license plate, but you would not get the registration stickers so it would do no good.
I've found some good information here too...

MetallicaFreak, For car insurance the quick method to get a low quote is do a auto policy comparison. Be sure to choose the same coverage levels, you can get an accurate quote to compare against others. Use the same coverage area, auto make and model, mileage and driving history to ensure you get accurate comparison. To get mulitple auto insurance quotes, go to http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Auto-Insurance-Quote.html and you can compare all the major auto insurance companies.

what is the average of full coverage car insurance for a chavy blazer 2001 in north Carolina?

I am planing to buy a chavy blazer 2001 used car. I know I will need full coverage insurance. I am a good driver, haven't have any accidents or traffic violations. How much would the car insurance cost in North Carolina?
A number of factors can affect the cost of your automobile insurance. Age, make and model of car, driving record, purpose the car serves, where you keep and drive your car, and your credit rating all affect insurance rates.
