I am 13 and my mom says I have ti pay for my own car insurance!?! GRRRR~~?

Im 13 and next year, i am getting a family members car at 14 (in south dakota you have to be at least 14 to drive) and my mom says i have to pay for it all by myself...! Hello...????!! Its hard to get a job at 14 and i have a job (I usually dont go because its a family job) But i can only go twice a month and i get 50$ a month. Is my mom wrong or right?
wow thats crazy lol..u cant even get a job at 14..well then its very very hard...i didnt have to pay for mine till i wa slike 19 or so lol
you are only 13 years old...i could see maybe at 16...but come on people shes in middle school...lol middle schoolers dont pay bills...they do chores

Tough Car Insurance Question?

I was insured under Farmers Mutual of Nebraska but was involved in an accident in April. There was no police report filed. I panicked and completely had no idea what to do. The company truck that hit me promised up and down that it was his fault and the company would take care of it.
He gave me his immediate supervisors phone number and I called and they forwarded my number to their "insurance company". They were called Gallagher-Bassett and were located in Mechanicsburg, PA. The woman that I spoke to gave me the run around for about 4 months. From there, they found the driver not guilty and now it is on my records that I have one at fault accident. From there, my car was deemed totaled and a check was sent to me for about 2500 and Farmers dropped me.
I am now searching for a car insurance company that has accident forgiveness. I tried All-State but I have not been a registered driver long enough to be covered. I started driving 3 years ago at 17. Geico is really high (1275 for 6 months), Esurance originally was only supposed to be $5-600 for 6 months, but when they looked me up and saw my "at fault" record, the rate went up to $900.
Do any of you have any idea what to do? I am driving without car insurance as it expired last Friday. I live in California but my mom is paying for me in South Dakota and if you have ever been to Los Angeles, you know how people drive.
Any companies with rates under $650 for 6 months would be great. Nothing more than $700 maximum.
