Can they take me from Texas to Kansas for a 7 year old no insurance ticket?

I got a no insurance ticket SEVEN years ago in Kansas while I was traveling through on vacation. I never dealt with it and completely forogt I ever even went through Kansas at that. I live in Texas, and they sent me a notice I had a warrant in the mail. I hired a attorney to deal with it for me because I CANNOT leave my kids and animals and travel all the way to Kansas to deal with it. But he says I have to come give finger prints and pay small fine. I just can't leave for that long though. It would take at least 3 days to get there, deal with it, and come back. I have 2 babies, and feed baby animals every 2 hours. No way I can go. Can they come and get me and take me to Kansas for this ticket if I don't do anything about it???

It's not likely that micro-utility trucks will be legal within Hays city limits anytime soon.

The Hays City Commission discussed the possibility at Thursday's work session and reached a consensus that the ordinance would not be approved next week.

"I was all for having them, but now they can't get on Vine, and that brings a problem to us," Commissioner Allan Lytton said. "That brings more of a problem, and I don't want to get into the problem of having to enforce that."

This issue surfaced last summer, but it remained unclear whether the vehicles would be allowed to travel Vine Street, as state legislation prohibits highway use.

City staff requested an opinion from Kansas Attorney General Steve Six, who upheld that the vehicles could cross the highway, but not travel on it.

That presents a problem, especially because not all Vine Street intersections are perfectly aligned, City Manager Toby Dougherty said.
